Privacy Policy and Limits to Confidentiality
All client information provided to Rik Isensee, LCSW in his private practice of psychotherapy will be kept confidential in accordance with the Board of Behavioral Science licensing laws of California.
(Some exceptions to confidentiality provided for by code include suspected child or elder abuse, threats to self or others, and subpoenas from a court of law.)
Email addresses submitted to Rik’s Ezine will not be distributed or sold to other companies or services. The only exception to this policy would be if Rik’s website itself is sold, in which case the email list may be part of that sale.
PLEASE NOTE: As with any online service, the website host may have access to material submitted through the contact form on this website. In addition, the Ezine service has access to the mailing list. Because of these limitations, Rik Isensee, LCSW cannot guarantee or assume responsibility for the absolute confidentiality of any information submitted through this website.
